Almira was born 6 Jan 1804 in Pelham, Massachusetts, the daughter of Joel and Dolly (Pierce) Howe. [1][2][3]

She married Reverend Benjamin Wood, a widower, on 3 May 1846.

Almira passed away in 1861 and is buried at the Pine Grove Cemetery, Upton, Massachusetts.
