The 1880 History of Marlborough [1] says "Stephen [Weeks], b. Aug. 9, 1762; m. Feb 13, 1791, Louisa Howe, b. May 24, 1768. They resided in Alstead, and had a numerous family,..."

In Hayward's work (cited below) there is the following to hellp with adding this family but I did not add them because in this source there are no dates or places attached to the names of the children.
Stephen Brigham {father of David} son of Stephen and Betsey, was b. Princeton, Mass. Aug. 9, 1762; d. Alstead July 16, 1839; m. Feb. 13, 1791 Louisa Howe b. May 24, 1769, d. Alstead, July 9, 1830. Their ch. were William; Louisa m. John Proctor of Sullivan; Persis m. Alvin Brooks of Alstead; Aaron m. Susannah Proctor of Sullivan; Lydia m. Stephen Hollbrook of Amherst; David; and Abram m. Alma Moore.
