Biography
John Haynes was the son of James Haynes, and his wife Ann Huggins. He was born 24 Nov 1759 in Rowan County (part that became Iredell County in 1788), North Carolina. He married Margaret Andrews on 29 Apr 1783 in Rowan County, North Carolina. John & Margaret had ten children: Nancy, Hannah, James Sloan, Andrew, Martha, Griselda, Margaret, John R, David, & Asenath.[1]
