Biography
Birth
David was born June 15, 1797 in Berks County, Pennsylvania, the son of Henry Hall and Anna Magdalina Glick. The date is calculated from the inscription on his tombstone.[1]
Marriage
After the death of Benjamin Kistler around 1822, David either married or entered into common-law arrangement with Elizabeth Robenolt. There seems to be no documentation of a marriage. The Hancock County, Ohio biography of her son, Benjamin Kistler, states she married David Hall.[2] The 1830 Census reflects the presence of her son, Benjamin Kistler at of 10 but less than 15 years. Two other children are presented of 5 but less than 10 years of age. Therefore, married or not, the family began after Benjamin Kistler's death and before 1825.[3]
Death
He passed away March 12, 1872 in Walnut Township, Pickaway County, Ohio. The date is presented on his tombstone.[4]
Grave Location
He is buried at Glick Cemetery located in Lithopolis, Fairfield County, Ohio.[5]
