Biography

Hubert John was born about 1875 in Lydbrook, Gloucestershire.

In 1891 (Hubert) John and his brother William were living in Westbury on Severn with parents George and Caroline. George was a Tin Plate Worker, as were the 2 boys. ^[1]

In 1901 Hubert was a Police Constable living in Bethnal Green, London with parents George and Caroline. ^[2]

Hubert John Haddock and Emily Ellen Louisa Plumb married in Bethnal Green on 4 March 1902. Hubert was a Policeman his father George was listed as a labourer. Emily's father Henry Plumb was a Warehouseman. ^[3]

In 1911 Hubert and Emily were living in Bethnal Green with their 2 daughters. Hubert was a Police Constable for the Metropolitan Police. ^[4]

Hubert died aged 43 in 1918. His death was registered in Whitechapel, London. ^[6]
