Noel Mills Freestone was born on 10 December 1916 in Lithgow, New South Wales, Australia, son of Claude James Freestone (1887–1962) and Hilda Aimee Mills Kable (1883–1962).^[1]

Noel (29) married Mavis Miriam Denny (23) (born in 1922 in Sydney, New South Wales, Australia; daughter of Herbert Morris Denney and Agnes Miriam Wilson) in 1946 in Rockdale, New South Wales, Australia.^[2]

Noel died on 15 February 1976 in Kogarah, New South Wales, Australia, aged 59.^[3] He is commemorated at Woronora Memorial Park, Sutherland, Sutherland Shire, New South Wales.^[4]
