Biography
Brien William Baxter Cobcroft was born in Sydney on the 11th of October, 1934.[1] He was the son of Gavin Cobcroft and Ellie Moses. He grew up on the Parraweena property.[2]
Brien competed in the 1964 Tokyo and 1968 Mexico City Olympic Games in the equestrian eventing team and individual events. He was part of the bronze-winning Australian team in 1968.[3]
In 2000 he was presented with the Australian Sports Medal,[2] and a grove of trees were planted in his honor at Willow Grove, NSW.[4]
He died on the 11th of July, 2010.[5]
