Emma Lou Clark was the 4th of 5 children born to Russell R and Tabitha Elizabeth (Richardson) Clark. She was born on 28 Jan 1876 at Wilson Co., Tennessee. She married Joseph V. McCleish on 8 December 1896 in Haywood Co., Tennessee. Together Joseph and Emma had 2 children; Grace M. born 18 Oct 1897 and Millard Harden born 6 Mar 1902. Emma died on 4 Feb 1905 in Whiteville, Hardeman Co., Tennessee.
