Biography
James Byers was born in about 1750. He died before 1804 in Iredell County, North Carolina, where his estate was probated. He owned six slaves in 1790.[1]
He owned a grist mill in the southern end of Iredell county.[2]
He may have had a son, James A. Byers.[3]
