Morvie (Boston) Bond (1926 - 2003)

Biography

Morvie was born on 24 Jan 1926 in Oxford, Mississippi to Durby Boston and Emma L. Waddington in Oxford, Mississippi.^[1]

When she was 4 years old in 1930, she and her family were living and farming in Lafayette Mississippi. Morvie was the youngest of the six children in the household and the only girl. Her brothers were W Boston, Jr.; Tommy; Walter S; Willie Louis; and Edward.^[2]

Her family was still living and farming in Lafayette County at the time of the 1940 Census. Her older brothers Walter, Willie and Edward were still in the household, and her younger sister Mary Lee (age 9) was also listed. Morvie was 14 years old.^[3]

Morvie died on 7 Jan 2003 in Chicago, Illinois.^[1]
