Anthony Faiola is Rome Bureau Chief for The Washington Post. Faiola joined The Post in 1994 and has reported for the paper from more than 60 countries on six continents and served as bureau chief in Tokyo, Buenos Aires, New York, London, Berlin and Miami. From Washington, he has also covered global economics and the U.S. financial crisis. Faiola graduated from Florida International University (FIU) in 1990 and began his journalism career at the Miami Herald.
