DJ Envy and his wife, Gia Casey, have good news to celebrate. On Instagram, their daughter Madison revealed she is engaged to be married to her longtime boyfriend, Andrew Watts. The photo shows the young woman and her now fiancé in Mykonos, Greece, the moment he dropped to one knee for the big question.
“Let the fun begin!” exclaimed Madison in her caption.
“Our baby is engaged!!!” detailed a joint post from Gia and DJ Envy.
Tami Roman, Cardi B, Busta Rhymes, Teresa Guidice, Claudia Jordan, Porsha Williams, and more all took to the comment section to share congratulatory messages for the couple.
Including Madison, the couple shares six children: Peyton, Logan, London, Jaxson, and Brooklyn. In 2022, Gia and DJ Envy, under his legal name RaaShaun, released the book Real Life, Real Love: Life Lessons on Joy, Pain & the Magic That Holds Us Together. The literary work details how the two met as teenagers in Queens, their approach to parenting, and how they navigated a public cheating scandal.
“First, would be the most obvious, communicate. There really is an art to communication. When we communicate the wrong way, we can be offensive to the person that we’re communicating with, especially if we are coming from a place of hurt. So when moving forward, you have to establish a set of ground rules to ensure that you’re speaking from the highest level of compassion possible so that both parties can be understood fully,” shared Gia with EBONY when discussing marriage tips from experiences relayed in the book.
“The next tool is taking accountability. This is not just understanding when you’re wrong, but accepting it and accepting what came of that wrong behavior. When the behavior is incorrect, words can ignite something terrible in someone else and that monster can just grow and grow. So you have to take accountability and accept your part in your partner’s hurt feelings.”

Last year, their parenting skills became a trending topic when their eight-year-old daughter dressed as Lil Kim in the “Crush On You” for Halloween. While Cardi B and Lil Scrappy were among those who championed the Hip-Hop costume, many fans took to the comments to share their thoughts on the festive attire.
“I could understand if your wife played Kim, But your daughter? Really? This is KRAZY,” wrote Walt of VH1’s Black Ink Crew, with another observer writing, “This is gross and inappropriate to have your child out here dressing & rapping like this for the world to see…”
“Dope concept. Wrong delivery. #cringe,” offered one uncomfortable follower with another adding, “I don’t know any decent parents who would be ok with their daughter in an outfit like this at 8 years old…very inappropriate…”
