EOIR-29, Notice of Appeal to the Board of Immigration Appeals from a Decision of a DHS Officer
Use this form to appeal an unfavorable USCIS decision on a Form I-130, Petition for Alien Relative, or Form I-360, Petition for Amerasian, Widow(er), or Special Immigrant, for Widow(er) filings only.
Note: An attorney or an accredited representative of an organization recognized by the Board of Immigration Appeals must file a separate notice of appearance on behalf of the petitioner (Form EOIR-27, Notice of Entry of Appearance as Attorney or Representative Before the Board of Immigration Appeals) with Form EOIR-29.
Do not use this form to appeal a Department of State overseas consular officer's denial of your visa application (for example, DS-157, DS-230, or DS-260). For information about visa application denials, please reference the Department of State website.

If you complete and print this form to mail it, make sure that the form edition date and page numbers are visible at the bottom of all pages and that all pages are from the same form edition. If any of the form’s pages are missing or are from a different form edition, we may reject your form.

USCIS no longer accepts payments made by personal or business check, money order, or cashier’s check for forms filed by paper unless you qualify for an exemption. When filing by mail, you can pay by credit, debit, or prepaid card by completing Form G-1450, Authorization for Credit Card Transactions, or you can make a payment directly from a U.S. bank account by completing Form G-1650, Authorization for ACH Transactions.
If you qualify for an exemption from the requirement to use an electronic payment method, you will need to complete and file Form G-1651, Exemption for Paper Fee Payment, along with submitting the correct payment.
