I think I wanted to change a lot about how I characterized him. He’s a good guy, but isn’t really present in Lights life. He’s probably the oldest out of the cast besides Darks family. I drew a jokey doodle a while back of him and Dull kissing, and to avoid confusion among the few people who still look at my posts: that was a joke, they don’t care much about each other.
I will say when I first started writing him I made him a little too ‘bad dad’ed, he’s more chill just, indifferent now. No high or any expectations for Light, just acknowledges that Light is technically his kid and moves on. He can be doting, for a time, but he’s again, not always there. Outside of his family life he’s a little intimidating from an outside perspective, partially responsible for life on earth but doesn’t take much credit for it. I guess he’s to himself, but gives the planet a heads up for big events every now and then, which are the only times he really pops by.
He can and will lose his temper though and just because he’s indifferent doesn’t mean he’s made of stone, his emotion can get pretty high and he takes the whole orbiting around him thing to heart.

Yeah uhhh Eva has been reformatted into Heat Wave, I’m not wasting a design like that… with her conjoined twin Humidity. No they don’t have nicknames… unless you wanna come up with them.
They’re a set pair obviously but sometimes Humidity takes charge while Heat Wave sticks back. They’re both bums imo but very kind and thoughtful bums that do their jobs so much they make everyone miserable. With the state of the world now they’re definitely more prominent, thanks.. a lot global warming. (It’d be so funny if I made that into a character I’m really just making bullshit.)
They were born when the smoke clouds cleared from the Earth and with Light on a planet with water (mixed with a bit of a nosey and frustrated Sun) they both emerged.

She needed her own separate post too, here’s Colours revitalized. Despite the assumption that she’d be Lights kid by default, she’s actually someone else’s kid…
BUT, she reflects his pridefulness and confidence but with a bit more artistic conviction. Every where in every light she makes the world colourful.
Her whimsy leaves her with her head in the clouds and even if she’s a part of Lights family, she feels disconnected from them. Not in a sad way but like she doesn’t really click with any of them.
Here’s her I guess dad. Not really that’s a They, but their name is Glare, they’re the uhhh parallel of Dull, as in if Dull is general darkness, Glare is General Light.
Not much to say about them, they’re old and mysterious with no reason to really speak so they just don’t. A little mischievous but in a more ‘I know something that you don’t’ kinda way. They’re the oldest oldest compared to like.. Limbo.
Like with Cosmo, Sun and Light they’re all related.
