You know I think also we can see the line "tommyinnit from nowhere in particular" in two other ways besides the literal of he didn't/wasn't allowed a solid home by outside parties.

1. Tommy himself doesn't feel like he belongs anywhere in particular:

He doesn't belong on the smp (no one wants him there, he was banned early). He doesn't belong in pogtopia, he doesn't belong in lmanberg (liability, lmanberg isn't allowed, etc), he doesn't belong as president (not sure if he wants to), he doesn't belong as a hero (he doesn't want to either), he doesn't belong as a villain, he doesn't belong as a kid in youth in childhood, he doesn't belong alive, he doesn't belong dead, he doesn't belong drowning, he doesn't belong in logsted either, he doesn't belong in some peoples lives, he doesn't want to BE in some peoples lives because they harm him, he doesn't belong a friend or enemy, he doesn't belong making a hotel, he doesnt belong in technos home, he doesn't belong in memory, he doesn't belong forgotten, he doesn't belong protected, and he doesnt belong grieving, and most certainly doesnt belong in safety. Nothing in Tommy's life has made him feel belonging anywhere. So you're from nowhere in particular yeah like that hits deep fucking hard like yeah how dare you cslime say what I think aloud holllyyy shittttt

2. Nowhere in particular in that tommys philosophy was connecting everyone.

The prime path though not built by Tommy was extended by him to pretty much ALL reaches of the server save a few locations (secret ones, Jack's isolation van, etc). He built it to be connected with everyone. The hotel was invented to connect everyone together and be a way point. Tommy's always felt his best connected with people. People in his mind are home. So he's yeah "no where in particular" because that's the fucking point of home. Home is everywhere if you try hard enough if you love hard enough. Which is both adoring but also fucking gutting when juxtaposed with the reality of ctommys situation.

Anyway I know I barely go here these days but the ctommy disease never dies AMEN

I wish depression were an emergency. I wish someone could take one look at how sick I am and go “oh my god, we need to get you to a hospital!” and then when we get there I get rushed into surgery and the surgeons say “it’s a good thing you brought her here when you did, this is a seriously advanced case” and then they put me under and spend the next ten hours pulling metres of long, sticky black strands of gunk out of my body, throwing it immediately into an incinerator so that it can’t infect anyone else. And then they could stitch me back up and I could rest a few days, and when I leave the hospital everyone can see how much better I am and they congratulate me saying “well done, you’ve been so brave, I’m so glad you’re ok. I love you.”
