being very emo tonight , but thinking about Heath feeling insecure in his relationship with Abbey due to their differences. Abbey is obviously more mature and goal oriented. She has solid control over her ice powers and is crazy strong (emotionally and physically). She is incredibly smart in every subject and excels in mathematics, but is also deeply creative. All while Heath has 0 control and flares up every minute. He is impulsive and unsure about his future. And he flunks in almost every class.
In my hcs, i think it all would come to fruition after hs . Abbey would be off thriving in college , meanwhile Heath would stay behind due to his decision to not go to college after barley scraping by hs. He would notice all the academics and professionals Abbey is surrounded by and feel self-conscious about his own standing. Maybe he would do a lil self-sabotage but-----
