Omg, could you please do a Loki story where Jotuns are basically space penguins, so now Loki has a crush on you and is frantically and meticulously looking for the perfect pebble to give you while Thor just watches and laughs.
The Pebble and the Frost Giant
Pairing: Loki x female reader (y/n)
Summary: Loki is trying to deny his feelings for you so he doesn't ruin your friendship but when he passes an area filled with pebbles and small rocks, he's unable to resist the urge to bring one back for you and tell you he loves you.
A/N: OMG! This is the cutest ask ever, I literally had to write it the second I got it. Most of the time it takes a week or so for me to get an idea from an ask but this one was pretty instant. Thank you so much for sending this, I really hope you like it! 💚
Also, I absolutely love the movie The Pebble and the Penguin! If anyone hasn't seen it, you should! 🐧
"Come on brother," Thor pats Loki on the knee and the younger prince looks up from his book in annoyance.
"I'm not going," Loki resumes reading as if Thor isn't there.
The older Asgardian sighs, "We've got at least an hour until the jet takes off. Let's go down by the water."
"I'm perfectly fine here," he licks his finger before flipping the page. Thor grins and pulls the book from his brother's grasp. "Give it back you oaf!"
"Just twenty minutes," Thor holds the book over his head.
I know I don’t post much but reposting this because I love it SO much and I think about it so often.

little mortal is the first name that loki gives you that isn't your own. you bristle at it in the beginning, because you think that it's a cruel way that loki wants to remind you about the differences between you.
as time goes on, you start to believe the fondness in his tone. you notice when he says it—when you're being stubborn, when you're feeling bad, when you're on the cusp of doing something just because you can.
dear heart is when he's being patient—either with you, or with himself. when you're ranting, and he wants to pull you back to the point of the matter—"dear heart, come back."
chaos bringer appears the day that you brought home a duck.
"it's hurt," you tell him. "it's messy," he says. "so are you. so am i. just until it's healed!" he sighs, knowing the battle was lost. "very well, chaos bringer."
lovely one is for first thing in the morning. or last at night. when his guard is down and he thinks that he's gotten lucky in a way that has tricked the universe.
when you roll over in the morning, face still crumpled from sleep, and he reaches out—"good morning, lovely one."
cleverness sounds like immense pride, even when he's not thinking about it. especially when he's not thinking about it.
or when he notices your restlessness in the evening, and you've paced a hole in the living room floor as he reads—"come, cleverness," he says, shifting in his chair, "tell me what troubles you so that i may concentrate."
he was only 16
Spellbound Love-Loki.
The grand halls of Asgard shimmered with golden light as a soft breeze carried the scent of burning incense and ancient tomes. Deep within the royal palace, Y/N stood at the edge of the throne room, her fingers twitching with barely contained magic. She was no ordinary sorceress—her power rivaled even the greatest of seers, but it was her heart that made her dangerous in Odin's eyes.
She was in love with Loki.
The God of Mischief stood beside her, his emerald gaze locked onto his father's stormy expression. Loki's grip on her hand was firm, a silent vow that he would not let go, no matter what.
"This union is unnatural," Odin declared, his voice heavy with judgment. "You are reckless, Loki, blinded by a sorceress who does not belong at your side."
Y/N stiffened, anger flaring in her chest. Her curves were draped in a gown of deep green, the color of Loki's magic, the color of his love. She had faced many battles, but none as personal as this.
"With all due respect, Allfather," she said, her voice unwavering, "you fear what you do not understand."
Loki smirked, pride swelling in his chest. He had always admired her fire, the way she refused to bow to anyone, not even the King of Asgard.
"She is more worthy than most who claim to serve you," Loki interjected, his tone sharp. "Or is it simply her power that makes you afraid?"
Odin's eye darkened. "You dare—"
"I dare," Loki snapped, stepping forward. "You have never once approved of anything I love, but this? I will not yield."
The room grew tense. The guards stood ready, uncertain whether to step in. But before Odin could retaliate, another voice broke through the tension.
"I agree with Loki."
Thor.
The golden prince strode forward, his blue eyes blazing with defiance. "Y/N has proven herself time and time again. She has fought beside us, saved our people, and she has only ever brought out the best in my brother." He turned to Odin. "Would you deny him the happiness you so easily granted me?"
Silence fell. Y/N felt her heart race—Loki had always defended her, but to have Thor's support was unexpected.
Odin let out a slow breath, his expression unreadable. "Love does not come without consequence. If you choose this path, Loki, know that it will not be easy."
Loki smirked, pulling Y/N closer, his lips brushing against her ear as he whispered, "Nothing worth having ever is."
Odin studied them for a long moment, then turned away, signaling his reluctant acceptance.
Loki pressed a lingering kiss to Y/N's forehead, his magic wrapping around her like a promise. "Let them try to stand in our way," he murmured, "I will always choose you."
And as she looked up at him, she knew—no force in the Nine Realms could ever break their bond.

you were unaware that a god could actually contract a minor cold, let alone a fever, and unfortunately, thor was away handling important business in new asgard, so it was just you, loki, and a team of heroes who could not care less what state he was in. that last part didn’t really matter, though. he was more approachable now that he was too fatigued to gripe about how much he loathed tony’s choice in body spray, and had too much of a headache to spark fear into bruce.
honestly, as much as you enjoyed the silence, the lack of banter and smug quips made the place feel a little empty, less lively.
he blinked slowly as you knelt beside his bed and dabbed a cold, damp washcloth onto his face.
“feels nice,” he whispered faintly to you. he had been nothing but sweet to you after he realized that you were determined to cure his ailment. he suddenly shifted from his usual witty jokes to a friendly, kind demeanor. at first, you weren’t really sure what to think of it. a part of you warned against his manipulative facade and wanted you to believe that he was only taking advantage of your empathetic nature. but over the past few days, it really began to seem like his behavior was genuine, like he actually trusted you.
“yeah i bet,” you noted.
you had to hold back a smile as his eyelids drooped. you never thought there would come a day where the god of mischief was so ill, he was incapable of coming up with any kind of playful remark.
“do you need any more tea?” you asked, making sure to keep your voice just above a whisper so as to not worsen his headache.
“not at the moment,” he spoke, before curling his tall limbs into a ball and becoming one with his countless blankets and pillows.
“alrighty then,” you said before adding, “you know, you won’t cool off underneath all of those layers”
“mmph,” was all you got in return, causing you to chuckle a little before taking a seat in a chair he had set by the window. it was an amazing view - the field outside the window, not the sick, stubborn god all miserable and weary in bed - and you hoped that maybe tomorrow he would feel up for a short walk outside. perhaps that would be beneficial instead of him being practically bedridden the whole time. but for today, you had no problem being cooped up with your favorite god of mischief.
Last Person
Summary: Loki x fe!Reader -> The last person you thought would come to your aid, or even be on your side was Loki. And yet, he turned out to be the first one.
Disclaimer: Dislike (to friends) to lovers, pining, yearning, hidden feelings, hurt/comfort, one bed trope-ish, nightmare trope, Scott, Joaquin and Kate being a trio. Fluff, angst, little swearing, long(er) fic.
Thor had brought you to Asgard just after you collapsed in the training room with the rest of the Avengers. Usually, you could keep up. But…something happened.
Something Jarvis could even explain through multiple scans.
“Perhaps Thor would be more suited to finding a doctor.”
“Jarvis, what does that mean?”
“It means…whatever is in Y/n’s system is not of our world.”
Clint had looked around the entire room. “But she’s never even left Earth.”
Before you knew it, Thor was cradling your head gently as multiple beams of light flashed around you. And ever since, you’d been laying on a golden table whilst Asgardian nurses rushed around your bedside, fixing and scanning things.
“What’s she doing here?”
Despite the shivers that were starting to take over your body, you managed to roll your eyes. “Here to visit you, clearly.”
Melt into a kiss
Loki stood before you, brows knit, lips pursed in that skeptical way they did whenever you'd bring up something "midgardian" that he'd never heard of. You'd told him you wanted to do a trend that you had seen with him, refusing to answer questions, insisting it would ruin the point, which only added to his doubts.
And yet, because he loved you, here he stood, watching you prop your phone up to face towards the two of you, pressing the little red record button and padding back over.
"Are you now going to enlighten me on this 'trend' you speak of?"
You simply shook your head, giggling a little as you took his hands in yours, prompting him to raise them up over his head.
"Not yet!"
"My love, this is ridiculous, what purpose could standing in such a way possibly- mmph!"
He was silenced as you pressed your lips to his, your hands gently cupping his face, thumbs swiping across cheekbones. His arms remained in the air for a second. two. before slowly lowering, palms sliding down your sides before wrapping fully around your waist. He kissed you back softly, sweetly, like he all but forgot your phone still recording.
You pulled back, all bright eyes and softly smiling.
"You melted, that's the trend."
"Melted?" he inquired, head tilted.
"Into the kiss, you melted!"
For a brief moment he seemed confused, then lightly offended, but a quick kiss on the cheek from you softened his features all together.
"It was cute."
When you tried to slip out of his arms to cut the video, he caught your wrist, gently tugging you back. His arms wrapped around you once more, lips capturing yours again with a soft murmur.
"You are to never post that video."
You'd rather have it to yourself anyway.
