Min wage should be 80k salaried
Like this isn't an exaggeration. You should be able to rent alone, buy groceries, have disposable income, and still save for a vacation or whatever tf. I cannot emphasize enough how little people are being paid

I’ve once again become a David Lynch fan blog lol. Since his death I’ve been reflecting a lot about how much he’s meant to me as a creative, how many times his art has inspired my own work. I’ve been in a creative rut for over a year (thanks depression), and it’s been like torture. But revisiting his filmography, looking at his art, watching interviews, I feel my spark being lit again and I’m coming back to myself. I ask myself what he would want all of us to do. He wanted people to feel free to create, to breathe life into the things in their heads and make them real. He’d probably say, “Go dreamy.” So here I go, I’m gonna dream again. Not for money or recognition or anything like that but for me, because I love it.
My favorite filmmaker of all time, David Lynch, once said “There is not a day that goes by that I don't think about The Wizard of Oz”. I believe this is evident upon viewing all of his films, as well as Twin Peaks. He was a student of the absurd and surreal, as was L. Frank Baum. The closest Lynch had to a movie in the Oz universe was Wild at Heart, my personal favorite film of his. Oz/Lynch is a wonderful documentary viewing Lynch's work thru an Ozian lens. I hope David finally made it to that land beyond the moon, beyond the rain, over the rainbow.
