Oh my gosh thank you for reading and sharing your thoughts, I'm so glad you enjoyed the atmosphere! This was very much just a sort of setting-the-scene chapter to show off who the MC is, her backstory and a glimpse of her relationship with each of the potential love interests haha.
I'm definitely gonna write all 4 ships- it'll branch out from the very next chapter and I have all four ships plotted out (some fluffy, others more angst-filled) and I hope you enjoy them all

I definitely do still have my plot notes for Dino's regency installment, it's just that I did so much word-building and character creation in that specific regency! universe (it's over 100k words!) and I can't remember the details since it's been months since I looked at it. It'll take me some time to go through my notes for the universe and get the momentum back to write Dino's installment, so I might work on some easier stuff first, but it's definitely part of the plan!

I definitely will be continuing This is War because I still have the notes and everything planned out but honestly I am not sure when I'll get around to it. It's one of my favorite brainchilds but I realised as I was writing it that I was investing way too much time and energy into it which is something I can't afford to do right now with a lot of new responsibilities at my full time job. So hopefully if things ease up in the future I will be able to dedicate some time to finishing it.
In the meantime, I will try to supply you with the best I can do, which is easier-to-write self indulgent regency fics haha 😂

Thanks, I'm really excited about the new series too! I have always loved dystopian themes and I won't lie to you, there's a lot of angst and suffering planned for this series and it will be pretty dark.
Having said that, I assure you that Hoshi is my baby and I would never hurt him. Case in point: his regency!AU installment is the absolute fluffiest shit I've ever written 😂
