Would Lace and Hornet have pet names for eachother in the neighbors AU? Follow-up question, would they have special names for eachother’s contacts in their phones?
this ask reminded me that lace uses petnames(?) in canon and it's a fun detail about her and I diiiiiidn't really use it in neighbors yet. whoops.
this may be biased but I don't think they would use pet names. in. in my au. and in my art. it's a personal preference, I don't like petnames.
my headcanon is that hornet is too pragmatic to use pet names. plus, lacenet don't quite become official in neighbors au, I've decided. they don't really view each other as real partners for a long long time.
lace would tease hornet and use her iconic "spider dear" and such, but not really... seriously. she doesn't necessarily say that because hornet is endearing to her. she says that to mock hornet.
