Oil and gas drilling and production services provider ADES International Holding plc (LN:ADES) reported on Friday that its new joint corporate broker is Numis Securities Limited.

Numis noted that the statement emphasises no options are off the table in order to maximise shareholder value.

Kathryn Leonard, analyst at Numis, said: "The data suggests that demand has improved since Thomas Cook last reported.

Tim Barrett, of Numis, said: "Analysis of The Restaurant Group's volume recovery will be complicated by market softness associated with recent external factors.

"Numis Securities' decision to relocate to 575 Fifth Avenue also underscores the appetite for well-located, distinctive workplaces."

"Both acquisitions are interesting as they diversify NMC's revenues (one into a new service line and one expanding geographically) and both can provide referrals into its existing specialty hospitals," Numis said.

Numis Securities increased its pre-tax profits forecast from pounds 271 million to pounds 287 million.

Numis Securities has reduced the target price of UK Coal (LSE: UKC), a United Kingdom-based coal mining company.

Broker Numis hiked its 2009 pretax profits forecast from pounds 155m to pounds 175m in response to news of a "very strong performance" at Wickes.

City firm Numis Securities added pounds 26m to its M& S profits forecast after the update, but its estimate for a surplus of pounds 550m in the year to March is still down on this year's reported pounds 604m.
