The hospital has a 30-bed inpatient unit, including
high-dependency, palliative, paediatric, general and assessment, treatment and rehabilitation beds.
Flu is also having a "moderate impact on hospital admissions and a high impact on intensive care unit and
high-dependency unit admissions", PHE said.
The Children's Ark takes care of the sickest children from Clare, Limerick and North Tipperary, and includes 49 beds, a
high-dependency unit, cystic fibrosis unit, play department and a school.
