Tuberculous granulomatous prostatitis showed areas of caseating necrosis with granulomas and Langhan's type giant cells.
We discuss the methods of diagnosis and the classic findings in histoplasmosis, including the microscopic appearance of caseating granulomas, the results of periodic acid-Schiff staining and Gomori staining, and antibody detection of histoplasmosis.

Pathology (Figures 7 and 8) showed the presence of numerous granulomas, most with caseating necrosis and was consistent with Sporothrix infection.
It may also cause caseating granulomas and calcifications.7 Patients with brucella glomerulonephritis almost always have, proteinuria, and/or azotemia, but exact diagnosis is generally established with resolution of the clinical findings after antibiotic treatment for brucellosis.8 In case 2, microscopic haematuria, proteinuria, and increased BUN and creatinine levels were detected during the initial laboratory analysis while renal biopsy revealed acute tubulointerstitial nephritis.
Histopathology revealed diffuse large caseating granulomas with extensive central necrosis, small lymphocytes, plasma cells, and histiocytes.
Histopathological examination of the resected specimen revealed caseating granulomas with acid-fast bacilli.
The differential diagnosis is made with the identification of a caseating granuloma with associated epithelioid cells and giant cells of the Langhans type during histological evaluation of biopsied tissue.
Histologically, the breast mass showed caseating granulomatous inflammation (figures ig and ih).
On histopathological examination, epitheloid granulomas with caseating necrosis were seen which was suggestive of tuberculosis (figure 2).
Other causes of caseating granulomas, especially if the patient is immunocompromised, must first be ruled out.
