Before proceeding to statistical fittings, the obtained values of [[sigma].sub.p], BD and w were examined via exploratory analysis using
boxplot graphs.
3: Relationship between potency and support in ToxCast assays: Each
boxplot summarizes -log(AC50) values, which measure potency (larger values are more potent, i.e., chemicals interact with the target at lower concentrations), for chemical-target-mode combinations with the specified support range.
Variations in the exchangeable potassium (K) as indicated by (a)
boxplot and (b) frequency distributions of exchangeable K.
Boxplot of the foliar concentration (%) of macronutrients in four woody legumes from de Pacific slope of Costa Rica.
Before any statistical analysis, any outliers were identified and removed using the
boxplot.stats function that applies the Tukey's method of identifying outliers ranging more than and less than the 1.5 interquartile range approach.
The distribution of the variability as a percentage of MVC amplitude is represented with the
boxplot in Figure 6.
The black lines in the gray boxes denote the median of the estimates, the gray boxes cover the 25-75% simulation interval, and the
boxplot whiskers indicate the 95% simulation interval for each assessment year.
From the result of similarity test with three methods and
boxplot obtained in Figure 7, it can be seen that SCGFN method used in this research has higher similarity value in comparison with GFN and TFN method.
