The unemployment rate among youth was 25.5 per cent in September, as much as it was in August, and down from 29.8 per cent in September last year,
Eurostat said.
For instance, the debt amounted to 50.9 percent of GDP in 2017.However,
Eurostat has expressed a reservation on the quality of the data reported by Slovakia to the EU.
According to
Eurostat, "the number of police officers in the EU has slowly been decreasing in recent years."
Eurostat estimates that 17.1 million men and women in the EU, of whom 13.5 million in the euro area, were unemployed in June 2018.
However, when comparing
Eurostat data with the willingness of Sofia citizens to help themselves and clean up their city, there is a significant discrepancy between the percentage of "disgruntled" Sofia residents and the number of residents of Sofia, which have voluntarily joined the spring cleaning of the capital a few days ago.
Eurostat said some 13.8 million people were without a job in March.
Eurostat described the company as a "non-market entity controlled by government and should be classified inside the government sector".
Last month,
Eurostat had said the Portuguese economic grew 0.2% in the quarter and 1.0% on the year.
A new methodology used by
Eurostat has lead to a shrinking of the debt as a percentage of GDP of 9.5%, the highest in the EU.
