Funeral services for Mr. John Paul Russell, 41, of Tyler, Texas were held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Pinecrest Baptist Church. Burial followed at Corinth Cemetery, under the direction of Reeder-Davis Funeral Home in Linden. There was a time of visitation with family and friends beginning one hour prior to service time at the church.
John Paul was born November 30, 1984, in Linden, Texas, to John David and Kathy Whatley Russell. He loved listening to his radio and enjoyed music, which brought him much comfort and happiness throughout his life. John Paul passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, in Texarkana, Texas.
He is survived by his parents, John David and Kathy Russell; one brother, Ben Russell; one sister, Julia Russell; one niece, Claire Russell; and one nephew, Aiden Russell. He is also survived by his aunt and uncle, Shirley and Edd Hargett; his uncles and aunts, Marty and Pam What le y, Wayne and Lindy Russell, and Jimmy and Amy Holland; along with many other relatives and friends who will cherish his memory.
