The Journal of Phase Equilibria and Diffusion (JPED) focuses on the crystallographic, chemical, diffusion, thermodynamic, and kinetic properties of phases in inorganic materials systems with special emphasis on alloy systems. JPED publishes critically reviewed basic and applied research results of scientifically and industrially important materials by international experts.

• JPED covers new research techniques, equipment, modeling, data evaluation, nomenclature, presentation, and other aspects, in particular phase diagram preparation and use.
