Reuploading the story

#1
I'm considering to delete the story and republish it again. Since my early chapters are bit rough. I'm planning on a full rewrite. Until now I have 12 chapters uploaded. 1576 Views, 6 reviews, 5 favourites, 13 Unique followers, 33 comments.

Is it better to delete and republish the story now? Or is it too late?

And the problem is older stories get less views overtime now, if the readers click away in chapter 01 and chapter 02... So... if I reupload will I get that "New story buff" in marketing.

I'm uploading 1 chapter per week now. If I started rewriting the initial chapters now instead of uploading new chapter every week, would it work? I think consistancy matters the most.

So what do you think?

Delete and reupload? or Rewrite initial chapters without uploading new ones? (With the work, I won't have enough time to do both Uploading new chapter and Rewriting previous chapters)

Where do you hold the new story buff idea from?

They're also just mislabeling the general (benefit) of being a new story for something like RS and treating it as if it's +100% exp or something full stop.

The whole OP is more growth oriented and little to nothing about the actual story. Work on your rewrite, make the story better, and then whether you wanna relaunch it (better) or just keep growing it slow and steady is up to you. If you worry so much about the stats and numbers and everything else, well you're not writing for the sake of writing and improvement. Worry about all that when your writing can at least carry the burden of obsessing over numbers and stats.
