Naturally, you're basically working blind while also being a painter who never saw another artwork. Your only other option if you refuse reading is writing ****loads of different stories, finishing them, letting them rest for a while, trying to rewrite them and repeating that process for years. It might work too but seems it'd be more time-efficient to actually check out some novels others wrote on the side.

First of all, I’m not your brother in Christ, and I know that life isn’t easy, but when I saw that I got views on Web Nofal, I just wondered why I didn’t get them on Royal Road. You might have gotten upset because you’ve really worked hard for years only to hear me say this, but you misunderstood me. I wrote the chapter’s text, didn’t I? So tell me, is it bad if it’s... , tell me—maybe I can learn from it. But five years of study won’t be that hard. I’m still young, and I’ll achieve whatever I want in due time. I’m not obligated to do anything right now—it’s not necessary in my life at the moment. I hope you understand what I mean.

My favorite kind of rabbit hole! Care to share?
Kind of a mix things
- What would agriculture be like if it rained non stop for three years
- Causes of banditry
- How to keep black powder dry
- 17th century underwear
- Difference between schism and heresy
- Gigantothermy
- Mesothermy
- Holy Roman Imperial Free Cities
Don't know why, but at first I read this reply chain as one post, where the 17th century underwear, Holy Roman Imperial Free Cities and banditry were somehow happening on another planet with its own terrain, theological structure and architecture.  peogiggle

It seems you didn't understand what I mean. It's not that I don't want to read; it's just that I don't have time for it. I'm 16 and I have a lot of goals in my life. Writing is just a hobby—I've read dozens of pages, but I've never finished a novel. Anyway, if I really wanted to read for years, I would have wanted to read when I was 10, and that's rare. Don't give me those few examples of people who’ve read tens of thousands of books and haven’t even turned four yet.

Great. Same with most of us here with jobs and families and lives, and somehow we still find the time to put the effort in. The advice we're giving you is: go read, go write, stop using AI. Whatever strange instant gratification you came looking for is not going to be here.

Stop fighting with strangers on the internet, good luck on all your goals.

Which is cool and all but if you publish it, you probably expect someone to read it too – wasn't that the reason behind your posts? If you're not willing to put some basic amount of care into it, expecting a reader who got millions to books to chose from, or at least 100k on this site, to bother with a work the author can't be assed about is optimistic to say the least.

Giving any advice when the to go reaction is "cba" isn't too fruitful either.

Well, the alternative to reading a lot is writing crazy amounts – although you'd still have to read you own stuff over and over again which would cost you more time to arrive at a decent result.

I’m currently in a two-year high school program, and that’s more important to me right now than writing. I may have made a mistake by turning to AI, but here I am—I’m going to rewrite this chapter better by writing it myself. Even though it took me about seven hours to write the chapter using AI, I’m not going to worry about it anymore. I’ll do what I want. I’ll write many more chapters to come, and there will be my own work. And as I said, I’ll rewrite the first chapter from scratch. After I graduate in two years, I’ll be a full-time college student, and I’ll set aside time for reading and writing.
