THE PICS are delighted to announce that Will Shorrock has turned down the advances of numerous other clubs to sign for us.
The creative 23 year-old started his career at Walsall, where he signed professional forms, before going on to Bromsgrove Sporting and being one of their stand-out performers last term.
“I am delighted to have won the race to sign Will,” said Pics’ boss, Liam McDonald. “He really stood out against us last season and is someone that we were very keen to bring in.
“He’s an attack-minded and creative midfielder who can play off the centre forward. I am really excited to have him on board and I am sure he will be a key figure in what we want to achieve during the season ahead.
“He’s also a local lad and I am sure that our supporters will really take to him and what he brings to the team.”
Shorrock added: “I played against Rushall three times last season and they were by far and away the best footballing side that we came up against.
“It was because of this that I was keen to come here as the style really suits my game.
“This is a new challenge for me and I can’t wait to get started; I want to contribute with goals and assists but most of all I want to play my part in helping the team get promotion.
“I have heard many positive comments about the club. I will bring creativity and a hard working attitude and hopefully I can hit the ground running.”
