Katie Price has described her and Kerry Katona as being the "same" whilst revealing details about their latest career venture during a conversation with her sister, Sophie. During an episode of the Katie Price Show, the former model, speaking from Kerry's dressing room, discussed the success of her ongoing 'An Evening With' tour alongside the ex-Atomic Kitten vocalist.
Long-time friends Katie and Kerry, who have both featured on I'm A Celeb, recently embarked on the road to share anecdotes about their lives with supporters, covering subjects including marriage, divorce, television and family, and, according to Katie, it's proving successful.
Indeed, Katie declared the tour dates were "sell-outs", the duo were "buzzing," and she was "loving it" despite the extensive travel required. This led her to reveal insights into a particular similarity the reality personalities share.
Katie said: "Oh my god, this tour, they're sell-outs. They are so busy. We are literally buzzing, me and Kerry; they're so good. It's a lot of travelling, don't get me wrong, but I'm loving it, absolutely loving it."
Whilst she spoke with her sister and co-host Sophie Price, Kerry entered the dressing room they were sharing. Contributing to the discussion, they observed how Kerry preferred the room cold, whilst Katie favoured it warm.
The conversation then moved on to their mutual fondness for "trackies". Katie revealed: "Coz me and Kerry, we're both the same. We love our trackies, love our tracksuit bottoms, and on the stage", with Sophie then adding that she adores the fashion brand Bershka.
Katie disclosed that whilst they had originally "made an effort" with their looks for the opening show, the pair eventually switched to wearing trainers, loose-fitting trousers, and "just like a jumper."
She confessed that they "wear each other's clothes" with trainers, occasionally with heels for Katie, and it was so chilly on stage during one performance that Katie even had to resort to using a blanket.
This comes after reports emerged that Kerry had left audiences puzzled when she departed the stage mid-performance recently. Taking to Instagram later to clarify what had occurred, she revealed she'd experienced a "horrid" panic attack.
During the Shrewsbury date of the tour on September 22, Kerry bewildered audience members by suddenly standing up and exiting the stage. Subsequently, she explained how she endured a "full-on blown panic attack" and felt "so embarrassed".
She explained: "Last night on stage, I had a horrid, horrid, severe panic attack. Full-on blown panic attack. I was so embarrassed. I was sat there and the topic was our childhood and, I don't know where it came from but I was sat there and everything just went dead quiet.
"I was looking at Kate and Matt the host, and everything went really fuzzy, my heart was going so fast, I thought I'm gonna cry, I'm gonna faint."
Kerry further stated that she felt the need to "get off the stage," acknowledging that people might have assumed she'd left due to becoming a "bit too emotional," but clarified this "wasn't the case."
She expressed her apologies for the incident and extended her gratitude towards people for their "understanding".
