Prices are falling when Walmart, Micro Center and even Nvidia itself are offering deals and better pricing for RTX 5000 graphics cards.

In more good news for PC builders, the prices for some of Nvidia’s RTX 5000 graphics cards continues to fall with a few retailers even offering discounts below the normal cost.

According to our tracking, consumers can score even better prices today than a month ago when the market for GPUs had already been rebounding. The normalized pricing and even some deals have been popping up for the RTX 5080, 5070 Ti, along with AMD’s Radeon RX 9070 XT.

The graphs in this story were compiled using price history data from PCPartPicker.com, and checking online retailers including Amazon, Best Buy, Newegg and B&H Photo. As you can see, the prices for some RTX 5080 models have dropped by $40 to $80.

This comes as Walmart has kicked off its own “GeForce Week” sale, which ends this weekend. Standout deals include the retailer offering a PNY RTX 5080 model for $929 — down from the normal $999 starting price for the GPU.

Nvidia itself is offering the Founders Edition RTX 5080 at the normal $999 pricing from the company’s own online store when the model usually sells out quickly at Best Buy. The improved supplies and pricing have been causing some to speculate that the company is clearing out inventory to launch upgraded RTX 5000 "Super" cards, which have been rumored to arrive later this year or in early Q1.

Still, the change is a welcome sign from earlier this year when the latest RTX 5000 models were hard-to-find at normal costs. Instead, supplies were slim, causing merchants to take advantage with inflated pricing. For Nvidia’s RTX 5070 Ti card, consumers can also nab the PNY model at the normal $749 starting price from Walmart or Best Buy.  Amazon is also selling a Gigabyte model for $749 as well, although with a longer shipping time.

In addition, Walmart buyers can score an RTX 5070 from either MSI or PNY for $499, a decrease from the usual $549 starting price.

If you live near a Micro Center, the retailer is offering even bigger discounts, but only through in-store sales. Expect the discounts to last through Monday.

The pricing for AMD's Radeon RX 9070 XT has also improved from last month. But we still haven't seen it on sale again for the original $599 starting price. The lowest we found it for was at $669 on Newegg.

However, the situation isn’t changing much for Nvidia’s top-end RTX 5090 cards, which remain quite expensive at over $2,000. Month over month, the pricing has remained steady, with even a few cards increasing in price.
