Hi! I'm Jay Eaton, a biologist, comic artist, and organism appreciator. I draw a hard scifi webcomic called Runaway to the Stars, which is about the daily troubles of communication and accommodation when humans and aliens live together. You may have seen my work elsewhere as well, either through blue sky, tumblr, reddit, my website, or the anthology I co-edit; Almost Real: A Speculative Biology Zine. If you liked what you saw, this Patreon has even more of that good stuff. I post works in progress, sketchbook pages, exclusive comics, world-building details, and other goodies that my wider social media never or rarely gets to see. Currently, I am working on the first book of Runaway to the Stars for Iron Circus Comics. I post finished pages here as soon as they're done, long before they make it to my public webcomic site. I stream comics or other artwork every Tuesday and Friday on Twitch! On Tuesday I co-stream with Kel McDonald, and we start around 7PM PST. On Friday I strema alone and unfortunately I haven't been able to keep a consistent starting time, it's usually after 7PM PST.
