The NSRA - promoting and safeguarding Target Shooting now and for the future.

The National Small-bore Rifle Association (NSRA) is the National Governing Body for small-bore rifle & pistol, air rifle & pistol and crossbow target shooting.  We represent the needs of target shooters, supporting its affiliate clubs, members and newcomers through our extensive knowledge and skilled coaching courses. We strive for accessibility and believe that everyone can experience and enjoy our sport.

What is Small-bore Target Shooting?

Small-bore Target Shooting encompasses .22 Rifle & Cartridge Pistol but the NSRA also covers Air-Rifle, Air-Pistol and Match Crossbow. There are many different disciplines within each, so there’s something for everyone, from the peacefulness of Prone Shooting to the energetic Target Sprint!

Competitions

Competitions are a big part of our culture, whether you start out casually or want to dive right in. There are Postal Competitions where you can compete from the comfort of your own range or you can choose to travel to a Meeting or Match and compete shoulder-to-shoulder with others. Meetings are a great place to socialise with like-minded individuals, participate in the thrill of the shared competition environment and gain knowledge from more experienced shooters

  • I shot at the Lord Roberts Centre this morning for the first time. I was most impressed with the welcome and the facilities. I have booked again to shoot at the Centre next week
