2K Games promised that on Monday, August 5 fans of the WWE 2K series will receive information on this year's offering, and they delivered.
After much speculation it was revealed that WWE Superstars Becky Lynch and Roman Reigns will don the cover of WWE 2K20. Fans will be able to jump into the game starting October 22.
"My career has been about breaking barriers and doing what nobody else has done before. Being the first female Superstar on the cover of a WWE 2K video game is no exception," said Becky Lynch in a press release.
"As a gamer myself, being on the cover of WWE 2K20 alongside 'The Man' Becky Lynch and joining the likes of Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and John Cena is a huge career and personal milestone for me," said Roman Reigns in a press release.

This year's installment of WWE 2K will offer a brand new 2K Showcase mode called "The Women's Evolution" starring the Four Horsewomen of WWE; Becky Lynch, Charlotte Flair, Bayley and Sasha Banks.
WWE 2K20 will also mark the first time players can play as a female superstar in MyCareer mode and mixed tag matches
The WWE Towers from WWE 2K19 return with new challenges and a story-driven Tower based on the career of Roman Reigns.
WWE 2K20 will also introduce a new "service model" called WWE 2K20 Originals that will deliver 2K Showcase add-on content for player exploration beyond the game's initial launch. Each of the WWE 2K20 Originals will present a new playable world and its own unique theme. More details on WWE 2K20 Originals will be announced in the coming months and may require additional purchase to obtain.

Also, the premium and collector's edition of WWE 2K20 have been announced and are up for pre-order. Here's what is offered in both editions of the game from the official press release.
WWE 2K20 Deluxe Edition
