Today is National Old Stuff Day; seems like a good time to revive this game I made 22 years ago!

When user accounts were introduced to NG in 1999 we added the "Grounds Gold" system where you earned XP by viewing stuff. This system changed in 2000, so that you earned XP by voting on entries with the new voting system.

We thought it would be fun to have secrets you unlock as you level up. One of those secrets still exists; the ability to post a message in the site footer. Other features have been lost to time and various redesigns.

One of those features was The Last Piece of Cake, released in 2000.

No longer a secret, The Last Piece of Cake is now available to everyone!

Enhancements:

Upscaling of JPGs
Chunky rasterized art reverted to original Vector format because performance no longer an issue.
Audio export quality improved.
Updated music to Battle by @K-Pone!
