Here's the first song of the Stan week. Technically, it was the 2nd song I did for the mod after Dialtone (which is up next). I'm not really too sure what to say about this one. I just wanted to make something kinda bluesy after taking a Rock and Roll class as an elective in college last year. So after doin a bit of research to find inspiration, I stumbled on the NC Twitter account and found some gameplay footage that used an awesome track called Hiphop Lady. It felt so chill, and I think the ideas from it really worked to make the song sound unique.
Additionally, for the lil breakdown section, a fun fact is that that section was wholly inspired by the song Familiar from Steven Universe (specifically the chord progression). I couldn't (and still can't) explain what the chords are doing besides "descending", but I knew that it would give off a weird "intermissionary" feeling to break the monotony of the funky sections.

He made the temporary track used in the Twitter post, and without those bumpin tunes, I wouldn't have a lick of an idea on where to take the song.
