All Wishes Come True!100
Aug 18, 2026
All Wishes Come True! clocks in at 143 minutes. But the fun and thrill of the story, together with well-developed characters, leave the audience asking for more.

The End of Oak Street100
Aug 13, 2026
For a film that is confident enough to give away a sizeable amount of its premise from the get-go, The End of Oak Street remains filled with surprises and is a complete crowd-pleaser from start to finish.

The Wrong Girls42
Aug 13, 2026
The world needs more big, dumb stoner buddy comedies featuring women as leads.
The Wrong Girls, which boasts an impressive cast led by Kristen Stewart, aims to be that and misses spectacularly. Stewart’s star power isn't enough to rescue this film.

While changing minds and congressional votes is a reasonable goal, for director Teng — a Malaysia-born, New York-based journalist and filmmaker, who resigned from her job at ABC/Disney — the motive was initially a response to her sense of helplessness.

Honey, the product of bees in a hive, has just enough sweetness combined with a smooth texture to bring a wholesome and comforting relief that truly satisfies. I’ve just described what it’s like to view The Rivals of Amziah King.

The great thing about a quest story is that the audience is committed to the success of our intrepid underdogs. Even though they may not succeed or the goal is so completely unattainable, it doesn’t matter because we want them to win.

The Box91
Aug 10, 2026
Lorenzo Vigas’ The Box is a slow burn with violent fire barely contained in its narrative cauldron. Awash in ambiguity, it dishes out revelations with an eye dropper.

In Johnson’s hands, the young Bourdain’s story is a quite fun, funny and ultimately touching watch.

One Night Only75
Aug 6, 2026
One Night Only is equal parts stupid and silly, but 50-50 turns out to be enough to keep an audience hooked.

Stan Lee: The Final Chapter67
Aug 6, 2026
Marvel Comics pioneer and one-man marketer Stan Lee was a legend. But his last few years of life were devoid of the respect he deserved. To see four years of empirical evidence about the abuse and exploitation of Stan Lee in his 90s, is absolutely heartbreaking. What makes it worse though, is that many of the hard-core comic-fans who watch this film will have been among the conventioneers and such who met him during that time, including me.
