Jet Byte: Did you Know?

KQ Jetsetter, Jet Byte, cabin air is dryer than air on ground

The air in an aircraft is much drier than air on the ground

This is mostly owing to the low humidity levels at high altitudes, where planes operate.

At cruising altitude, where the air is substantially cooler and contains less moisture, this outside air is usually mixed with recirculated cabin air and conditioned before being supplied inside the cabin.
