Open Friday through Sunday from 10AM to 6PM, Basecamp gives kids the opportunity to explore, learn, and play through outdoor-focused activities like hiking, biking, and golf. Lunch is provided, and we ask that parents send children prepared for the weather with hats, sunscreen, and adventure-ready gear 🕶🥾🧭 We’re also excited to offer Tamarack Summer Camp 2025, running now through August 7, Monday through Thursday from 9AM to 3PM. Each week of camp features a new theme rooted in outdoor education—ranging from science and team building to rafting and trail exploration. Families can choose from weekly or single-day options throughout the summer. Spots are filling fast, so don’t wait to reserve your child’s place. 👉 Click the link to learn more and sign up today ☀️ https://lnkd.in/gqjDfeY4

1moThis is easily the biggest game changer for families - getting more accessible daycare of childcare options that are not on snow or indoors will help more families access the mountains. There is loads of unused / empty spaces that could be turned into an indoor kids + family area at most resorts. Also - every mountain should have some kind of volunteer / valet / wagons available to help schlep gear from the car to the kids area. It can take 30-60 minutes just to get kids and gear from car to snow. Anyone running a kids ski school knows how tough it can be to get kids on snow on time for lessons. Having some type of gear Sherpa system would help that morning rush for lessons in so many ways. The resorts and ski areas that invest in this type of family initiative will be demonstrating their investment and commitment to ushering in the next generation of skiers. This is a Low investment / high long term ROI.
