Our Client is seeking a hands-on Director of Human Resources to build and lead all aspects of our HR function as a department of one. This role is ideal for a highly motivated, strategic, and detail-oriented professional ready to own everything from compliance and recruitment to employee relations and culture development. You’ll work closely with executive leadership to design and implement HR initiatives that align with our mission, support our employees, and drive organizational growth.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, preferably in the banking or financial services industry.
  • SHRM-CP or PHR certification preferred.
  • Strong knowledge of federal and state employment laws and regulations.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and execute HR strategies that align with the organization's mission.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership to understand organizational goals and translate them into effective HR initiatives.
  • Develop and implement recruitment strategies to attract diverse and qualified candidates.
  • Manage the full-cycle hiring process, including job postings, interviews, and onboarding
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Implement programs to enhance employee engagement and retention.
  • Oversee the development and management of competitive compensation and benefits packages.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations related to compensation and benefits.
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws.
  • Conduct regular audits to ensure adherence to HR policies and legal requirements.
  • Identify training needs and develop programs to enhance employee skills and performance.
  • Promote continuous learning and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records and HR documentation.
  • Compensation & Benefits:

    • $140,000 to $160,000 (commensurate with experience)
