Barry was not only a remarkable leader in the real estate and self-storage industry, but also a tireless advocate for cancer research. After being diagnosed with kidney cancer, Barry fought the disease with courage for 18 years. But he didn't stop there, he turned his personal battle into a mission to help others by founding Kure It Cancer Research. Since our inception, Kure It has raised over $18 million to fund innovative research for underfunded cancers, giving hope to thousands of patients and families across the US.
