Protecting Critical Infrastructure from Emerging Drone Threats As unmanned aerial systems continue to evolve, so do the risks they pose to critical infrastructure. From military installations and airports to power plants and other high-value sites, organizations face an increasing challenge from everything from sophisticated UAVs to commercially available drones. Effective protection starts with reliable detection, tracking, and classification. Weibel's XENTA-C family of Counter-UAS radars is designed to provide continuous situational awareness and unmatched precision, even in complex, high-clutter environments such as urban areas and offshore installations. A key differentiator is XENTA-C’s ability to detect and classify drones regardless of speed through advanced micro-Doppler processing, distinguishing rotor signatures from ground clutter with exceptional accuracy. Integrated into broader security ecosystems, XENTA-C provides the critical sensor foundation for Counter-UAS solutions, supporting command-and-control systems, electro-optical sensors, and mitigation technologies to safeguard vulnerable sites. As drone activity continues to increase worldwide, securing critical infrastructure requires proven technologies capable of delivering reliable performance when it matters most. Some stories are difficult to capture in a few minutes. This film offers a glimpse into Weibel — what we build and where our technology makes a difference. But it only scratches the surface. Behind the systems are teams of specialists who solve complex problems with precision and care and develop technology that supports critical decisions when it matters most. That responsibility shapes how we work — from how we approach challenges to the ownership we take and the way we collaborate across teams. As we return from the summer period, we are continuing to grow — and we are looking for new colleagues to join us. We are currently strengthening our organization across engineering, software, strategy, quality, project management and public affairs. If you are looking to apply your expertise where advanced technology meets real-world purpose, we invite you to take a closer look. NATO Summit 2026: Weibel Scientific in Ankara today to take part in the NATO Summit Defence Industry Forum (NSDIF26) At the NATO Summit, Heads of State and Government will discuss the need for increased investments, industrial capacity and continued support for Ukraine. These priorities will set the direction for the industry forum. Peter Secher Jensen, VP Strategy & Transformation, is on the ground in Ankara representing Weibel at the industry forum as part of the Danish industry delegation. Great to see the support from the Danish Minister of Defence, Jeppe Bruus, and the Danish Ambassador to NATO, Kasper Høeg-Jensen. Clearly, the strength of the Alliance is inseparable from the strength of its industrial base. At Weibel, we remain committed to delivering technology that underpins credible deterrence and defence. #NATO #DefenceIndustry #NSDIF26 #Weibel

Extending the boundaries of air defense testing requires new ways of thinking—and new ways of operating. As aerial threats continue to evolve in both range and complexity, traditional land-based testing is no longer sufficient. From hypersonic glide vehicles to advanced cruise missiles and drones, today’s threat landscape demands long-range tracking and validation across vast operational environments. At Weibel Scientific, we are enabling the next generation of air defense testing at sea. Our instrumentation radars can be configured for maritime deployment, supporting large-scale test and evaluation missions where expansive ranges are essential. Whether deployed on research vessels, barges, or dedicated platforms, these systems deliver precise, high-fidelity data on critical parameters such as trajectory, position, behavior, and miss distance—ensuring that modern interceptor systems are tested with the rigor required to perform in real-world scenarios. With integrated motion compensation, purpose-built deck adaptors, and remote operation capabilities, Weibel radars provide a flexible and proven solution already in use across the United States, Europe, and Asia - supporting partners and allied nations in advancing their air defense capabilities. As testing moves beyond the limits of land, we are proud to help shape the future of validation at sea. Airports and critical infrastructure are facing an accelerating challenge: drones are getting smaller, faster, and harder to detect - yet the consequences of missing them have never been greater. That’s where the XENTA‑C radar changes the game. With its advanced 3D digital‑array technology, XENTA‑C is purpose‑built for Counter‑UAS operations - delivering precise detection, tracking, and classification of even the smallest low‑slow‑small targets at long range. It can distinguish drones from clutter, track their movement in real time, and provide the actionable data operators need to make confident decisions early.   For airports, this means more than detection. It means time; time to identify threats before they impact flight operations, time to maintain safe, uninterrupted airspace, and time to act with clarity in increasingly complex environments.   As drone activity continues to rise, robust Counter‑UAS capabilities are no longer optional—they are essential to safeguarding operations, infrastructure, and people.
