HEALTHCARE IS HUMAN | AWESOME HUMANS ON THE HILL This week, we’re bringing you with us — as 18 Awesome Humans (plus one very awesome special guest… Noah Wyle) head to Capitol Hill to fight for the support and real change you deserve. They’re stepping into more than 30 meetings with policymakers — sharing your experiences, your challenges, and the changes that would make your lives better and patient care stronger. Want to make an impact too? Head to our Advocacy Hub to reach out to your representatives and let them know what you need. Healthcare professionals are the heart of the system. But there’s no care without a cared-for workforce.
About us
FIGS scrubs are revolutionizing the medical apparel industry through its use of ridiculously soft and technical fabrics that are tailored to perfection. FIGS proprietary fabric is wrinkle resistant, moisture wicking and utilizes four-way stretch. Through our customer-centric, vertically integrated e-commerce platform, FIGS has transformed the way medical professionals shop. Through our Threads for Threads initiative, we've donated scrubs all over the world to those who need it — because everyone deserves to wear FIGS.

Seeing you inspire others? The best. We had the privilege to attend #MédicosAlFrente last week — a powerful gathering of healthcare leaders from across Latin America. Latin America’s leading voices in medicine came together — to connect, educate and inspire others. One standout moment: seeing Mauricio Gonzalez-Arias, M.D. take the stage. His journey with FIGS continues to inspire, and we’re proud to be part of it. Already looking forward to what’s next!

Meet the Farida Scrub Cap — nurse-designed, satin-lined. Throughout her time as a nurse, Farida Labaran, RN, found herself cobbling together her own makeshift scrub caps to keep her hair healthy — an occurrence that happens far too often. Together, we partnered to create our first satin-lined scrub cap designed specifically to protect natural hair. The design features Farida’s own personal drawings — a reminder that you are never alone. Because everyone deserves a scrub cap that works for them.

Anytime. Anywhere. The impact of what you do is everywhere. ⠀ Being a nurse means knowing how to do ten things at once. It means seeing what needs to be handled, and handling that sh*t. It means finding the humor and the hope in the highs, the lows, and everything in between. ⠀ Most of all, it means making an impact—wherever you are. ⠀ We couldn’t wait to celebrate, so we’re starting now. Happy Nurses Week!

FIGS DON’T SUCK. RECYCLE SCRUBS THAT DO. ♻️💚 When we say we’re committed to innovation, we mean it — not just for the future of healthcare, but for the future of our planet. 🌎 This Earth Month, we kicked things off in Houston, TX with something we’re really excited about: the launch of our new year-round scrub recycling program — Scrubs That Don’t Suck! 🎉 With the help of our friends at SuperCircle, we’re making it easy for healthcare professionals to recycle their old itchy, boxy, worn-out scrubs instead of sending them to the landfill. Even better? For every pair donated, we’re giving credit toward brand-new FIGS. It’s a win-win: fresh FIGS for you, less waste for the planet. Why does this matter? In the U.S. alone, 11.3 million tons of textiles end up in landfills every year. By recycling everyday essentials like scrubs, we’re helping to reduce toxins, greenhouse gases, chemical runoff, and microplastics — all of which take a toll on our environment. This is just one step, but it’s a meaningful one — and we’re just getting started.

How many countries (and how many continents!) did we donate FIGS to in 2024? What are the issues we’re fighting to change in Washington, DC? How can we build a culture that prioritizes YOUR mental health? 🤔 All of your burning questions about what it means to really make an IMPACT are answered in the FIGS 2024 Impact Report: https://lnkd.in/geT7GQhM

This was such a kind and unexpected surprise to read—thank you, Coco, for your thoughtful words. I’m beyond grateful to do the work I love, alongside so many incredible women leading with purpose and passion. Happy (belated) International Women’s Day to all those out there making a difference in their own way! 🌏💚 #IWD Coco Seignette Tyrone Bradley FIGS
With International Women’s Day coming up tomorrow, I thought about a conversation I had with my friend and photographer Tyrone Bradley. He said, "If you follow your bliss, life falls into place." (Then my Pattern app reminded me of the importance of aligning with what you’re born to do 😅 ). And I couldn’t help but think of this superwoman, Chloe Buiting, aka The Jungle Doctor, who Ty documented a while back.` She’s a wildlife vet, a conservationist, NGO director, a mother and all-around inspiration. A woman who leads with purpose, nurtures, protects, and pushes boundaries for herself, the planet and her daughter. When I’m older, I want to be as cool as Dr. Buiting 🌍 🌿🐘 📷 Tyrone Bradley for FIGS follow Ty: @tyrone_bradley follow Dr Chloe Buiting: @jungle_doctor
