Latin America’s leading voices in medicine came together — to connect, educate and inspire others. One standout moment: seeing Mauricio Gonzalez-Arias, M.D. take the stage. His journey with FIGS continues to inspire, and we’re proud to be part of it. Already looking forward to what’s next!

Meet the Farida Scrub Cap — nurse-designed, satin-lined. Throughout her time as a nurse, Farida Labaran, RN, found herself cobbling together her own makeshift scrub caps to keep her hair healthy  — an occurrence that happens far too often. Together, we partnered to create our first satin-lined scrub cap designed specifically to protect natural hair. The design features Farida’s own personal drawings — a reminder that you are never alone. Because everyone deserves a scrub cap that works for them. 

Anytime. Anywhere. The impact of what you do is everywhere. ⠀ Being a nurse means knowing how to do ten things at once. It means seeing what needs to be handled, and handling that sh*t. It means finding the humor and the hope in the highs, the lows, and everything in between. ⠀ Most of all, it means making an impact—wherever you are. ⠀ We couldn’t wait to celebrate, so we’re starting now.  Happy Nurses Week!

RECYCLE SCRUBS THAT DO. ♻️💚 When we say we’re committed to innovation, we mean it — not just for the future of healthcare, but for the future of our planet. 🌎 This Earth Month, we kicked things off in Houston, TX with something we’re really excited about: the launch of our new year-round scrub recycling program — Scrubs That Don’t Suck! 🎉 With the help of our friends at SuperCircle, we’re making it easy for healthcare professionals to recycle their old itchy, boxy, worn-out scrubs instead of sending them to the landfill. Even better? For every pair donated, we’re giving credit toward brand-new FIGS. It’s a win-win: fresh FIGS for you, less waste for the planet. Why does this matter? In the U.S. alone, 11.3 million tons of textiles end up in landfills every year. By recycling everyday essentials like scrubs, we’re helping to reduce toxins, greenhouse gases, chemical runoff, and microplastics — all of which take a toll on our environment. This is just one step, but it’s a meaningful one — and we’re just getting started.
