Agentic AI has flipped the order - Data with context is now the first class citizen and the primary fuel for Agentic AI, not just the app layers around it. Data requires first class controls and resilience around it. Just a year back Pat Opet aptly and rightly wrote about SaaS concentration risk. It perhaps needs another para in it now, as AI Agents are now the risk multiplier on top of that SaaS risk and the new center of risk concentration, because an Agent can read or act on data in dozens of SaaS apps or data sources in seconds to answer or act on a simple prompt.
