Union Station, and Denver itself, might not be here without the Chinese laborers who helped build the transcontinental railroad. HearStorySpot shares the story of Chin Lin Sou and his family, whose legacy helped shape Colorado history and the fabric of the Mile High City. From the railroads and silver mines to some of Denver’s most celebrated community spaces and businesses, AANHPI contributions have helped connect people, expand opportunities, and strengthen communities across Colorado for generations. 🎧 Press play to hear one of the many stories that helped weave the tapestry of Denver, then click the link to watch the full episode. Today on #SafetyWithMaria ☔️ Rain in the metro area can change quickly, and one part of town may look very different from another. Overnight freezing can also create slippery sidewalks, platforms, and bus steps. 🖐️ Use handrails while moving through the bus 👀 Watch your step on wet or icy surfaces ⚠️ Take extra care around crowded platforms and buses A little extra caution goes a long way. Stay safe out there and thanks for riding!
