We raised a Series C at a $1.25B valuation, led by Accel. Now back to building and continuing our mission to inspire and accelerate builders. In this next stage, Linear is becoming the place where teams, AI, and agents build software together. → https://lnkd.in/e_8_RY8p

Founders are rethinking how they raise—and when they take capital. In her latest piece for The Information, Natasha Mascarenhas chats with Pulley's CEO, Yin Wu about a growing trend: startups telling investors not to wire the money. Founders are pushing back on traditional funding norms and what that means for the future of startup finance. At Pulley, we’re seeing this shift firsthand. Founders are getting smarter about dilution. Teams are looking for liquidity without slowing down. And the future of startup finance is more flexible—and complex—than ever. The reality: Whether you’re raising a traditional round or exploring new paths like secondaries and private-market liquidity, the future of startup finance is more flexible than ever, and traditional equity solutions can’t keep up with the speed or complexity needed for this new world. But Pulley can (and is doing so for 8,000+ companies). We’re here to help founders make informed decisions without breaking stride. 🔗 Why One Startup Is Telling Investors Not to Wire the Money https://lnkd.in/g-dP8i3s

Customer Success at Pulley - We're hiring!

Excited to be quoted in the Wall Street Journal on the broken IPO market and why startups are turning to secondaries instead: "Public markets no longer reward long-term vision, which is essential for startup innovation." 💡 The IPO market hasn’t been broken recently—it’s been broken for years. ⏳ Public markets reward predictability. The best startups grow in step functions. 🔁 That’s why secondaries are on the rise—founders need liquidity without slowing down. At Pulley, we’re building tools to support this shift: clean cap tables, secondary planning, and equity infrastructure for the long haul. 📰 Full article: https://lnkd.in/gJSyyMMV Would love to hear how you’re seeing the IPO landscape shift.

Pulley is on the Forbes #Fintech50! Startups don’t win because they raise money. They win because they use ownership as an advantage—aligning incentives, attracting the best talent, and compounding long-term value. Yet managing equity is still too confusing, expensive, and complex. We built Pulley to change that—so founders and finance teams can make smarter equity decisions from day one. Recognition from Forbes is exciting, and the real win is seeing our customers turn equity into a strategic lever. Thank you to the founders and teams building these incredible companies—and for letting Pulley be a part of your journey. We’re just getting started.  https://lnkd.in/eG2Q8NHH

Wow, I'm still trying to catch my breath from the amazing event that SHACK15 and Hustle Fund co-hosted: Founder Friends SF #TCDisrupt It was amazing, we had over 1,000 RSVPs! I was able to sit down with Yin Wu, founder of Pulley, who shared stories about her journey. She grew up among very few Asian kids in rural Kentucky; she dropped out of college to build a laundry delivery service (fun fact: she hates doing laundry, yet folded thousands of articles of clothes as part of this experience) that was funded by Y Combinator; and now she's building her fourth startup, Pulley, which is providing best-in-class equity management for startups. I've had the pleasure of knowing Yin for half a decade now, and she's a builder and leader I've long admired. What I think makes her so special is her self awareness and openness to vulnerability. When you speak with her, you sense she's so sincere and open to sharing. If I didn't have my job, she'd be someone I'd love to work for and learn from. A huge thank you to our awesome partners for putting this together! Thank you SHACK15 for this collab, I'm a proud member of your space and love your team. Thank you to our amazing sponsors, Rippling, Zendesk, and Mercury for making this event possible, and for providing such valuable services for founders. Special thank you goes to my venture fellow colleagues Benjamin Bimanywaruhanga, Peter L., and Francisco Guerrero for facilitating this event on the Hustle Fund side, you guys are a blast to work with! Hope to see you at a future Founder Friends!

What is your liquidity strategy as your company grows? As companies stay private longer, founders and finance teams need ways to unlock liquidity for their employees and investors. Tenders are one method that allow for companies to control the parameters of their offer. Whether you are thinking about making a tender offer soon, or in the next 2 years, you should know what your options are, and have a plan in place. Join us on November 14th, at 10am PT / 1pm ET for a discussion on tender offer best practices with Kevin Gsell, Head of Company Solutions at Nasdaq Private Market, Rotem David, Chief Product Officer at Nasdaq Private Market, and Jaime Flores Benabib, Product Lead at Pulley. Get an overview of how tender offers work, and how Pulley and NPM’s integration helps private companies run a tender offer more securely and efficiently. https://lnkd.in/gz3QQ3Az
