Just wrapped an incredible session at Explore with Brandon Ehrhardt and the Expedia Group team. We opened with a confession, our CFO wasn't thrilled about our Bellagio bill this week. But that was the point. 147,000 extra people in Las Vegas right now. $23M in predicted spend. A perfect storm of demand that was completely knowable months ago. The insight that landed hardest: the biggest demand driver in your market is often not the event everyone's talking about. It's the ones nobody sees coming, stacking quietly alongside the headline, moving your occupancy curve before your comp set even notices. Hotels that see the full picture early capture the rate. The ones that wait react to it. That's what the PredictHQ and Expedia Group partnership puts in your hands. Huge thanks to Ariane Gorin, Brandon, and the Expedia team for having us! And to every hotel partner in the room... You're already ahead!

The big events are obvious. Everyone sees them coming. The real opportunity is in the ones most teams miss — youth sports tournaments, hobby shows, conferences. Micro-events that move demand before anyone's paying attention. Tomorrow at 2:30 PM, our CEO Campbell Brown joins Brandon Ehrhardt, VP of Marketing at Expedia Group to talk about exactly that — how real-world context influences demand spikes. See you there!

Most forecasting models can't explain where demand is coming from. For a retail group, that gap was costing them. 60% of demand variability unexplained. Millions of SKUs. Thousands of stores. After integrating PredictHQ: $30M+ in ROI. The secret sauce? Our platform’s ability to operate continuously, transparently, and at enterprise scale. The full story is worth a read. 👇 https://lnkd.in/gbarxY7b

At PredictHQ we've spent years deploying real-world context for models that power decisions at some of the world's largest companies. But getting customers to value has always taken longer than it should. Too many calls. Too much explaining. Not their problem... it's ours. And that world has changed. AI-native teams move fast, build first, and reach for APIs before they reach for a sales rep. We've been API-first since day one... we were just waiting for the market to catch up 😉 So Robert Kern and I made a call. We're building something unique, which we know will fundamentally change how people interact, develop and deploy with everything we've built. It's called Bolt ⚡. More soon.

Our billboards are now live in the real world across the Bay Area. Spot one, send it through. The message behind them is simple. As AI scales, so does the need for trusted, explainable, and accurate context. Models are getting more powerful, but without real-world context they still miss what is actually driving demand, operations, and decisions. That gap is where decisions get expensive. A store within 0.2 miles of a conference and a sports game does not just need an early signal that demand will surge. It needs to know why, by how much, what action to take, and when it will happen again. PredictHQ was built for that moment, delivering real-world context at inference time inside the workflows where it matters most. #FuelSmarterAI

We’re seeing a pattern across enterprise AI right now, and a mindset that needs to change. Most systems are being priced like every token is the same: cost per token, cost per request, cost per million tokens. It’s simple, scalable, and easy to benchmark. But it ignores where the real value actually sits. Right now, a token that answers “I’m in San Francisco tonight, where should I go for pizza?” is effectively treated the same as one that influences pricing, staffing, or inventory decisions across thousands of stores. Those two things are not comparable. One is convenience. The other drives measurable, commercial business outcomes. As Dario Amodei pointed out recently, some outputs are worth cents, while others can be worth millions. The difference isn’t the model. It’s what the output actually changes. In practice, enterprises don’t care about tokens. They care about outcomes. Did it improve the decision? Did it reduce uncertainty? Did it drive measurable ROI? As models improve, generation gets cheaper and more abundant. That only makes the real bottleneck more obvious. The cost and compute increasingly sit at inference, so the value question becomes sharper: not what did the model produce, but what did it improve at decision time.
