Back from LegalOps.com's "Running Legal Like a Business", and still unpacking the three-day AI workflow bootcamp from Gabriel Saunders and Marc Mandel. This wasn’t “ChatGPT tips” — it was advanced prompt engineering, and the room was scribbling notes nonstop. A few standout techniques: ✔️ Branch + Score Method: Generate 3 options, weigh pros/cons, expand only the best path. Brilliant way to avoid tunnel vision. ✔️ Reverse Interviewing: Have the AI ask 2–3 clarifiers before answering. Prevents wrong assumptions and gets better outputs. ✔️ Model Stacking: Fast draft → careful reasoning → polish. Don't expect perfection in one pass. And so much more! This level of strategic thinking around AI interaction is what separates effective practitioners from those just playing around with tools. If you get a chance, you must hear these two speak. They are truly experts in what they do. Great job Connie Brenton for curating such strong content!

The community they’ve built reflects Connie’s best qualities—inclusive, inquisitive, and invested in each other’s success. I connected with customers, prospects, and made new friends along the way. Already looking forward to next year. If you missed it this time, hope to see you at the next one!

Excited to see the launch of The Augmented Lawyer, a new expert column on Law360 led by Karineh Khachatourian. Her and Trevor Giampaoli's first piece, "Crafting Responsible AI Policies," tackles a reality many are just waking up to: AI tools aren't confidential by default, and your interactions could be discoverable in litigation. For a profession built on confidentiality and privilege? That's a profound shift. I was glad to contribute to this piece, sharing some of the key issues we've faced in helping clients navigate these challenges. This article is worth your time. You'll walk away with the essential questions you need to ask as an attorney to do your due diligence when it comes to AI. Read the full article below

🌟 Happy News To Share! I’m thrilled to kick off our new expert column with Law360: The Augmented Lawyer — where we will be exploring how AI is reshaping the practice of law and what it means for lawyers, clients, and the profession as a whole. The first piece, “From Convenience to Caution: AI Use in Law After OpenAI’s Data Retention Uncertainty,” dives into the shift we’re seeing: from the early excitement about AI tools to a more thoughtful, cautious approach driven by concerns around data privacy, discoverability in litigation, privilege and confidentiality. This is just the beginning. We will be digging into emerging AI legal trends, the evolving role of AI in our work, and strategies for using it responsibly and effectively. Thank you Trevor Giampaoli and Sona Sulakian for being part of our first article! 👉 I’d love to hear from you: What AI + law topics are you most interested in seeing covered? Drop your thoughts in the comments — your input will help shape future installments! And feel free to send me a message if you can't access the article. https://lnkd.in/ggfUNSZm #AI #LegalTech #Law360 #TheAugmentedLawyer #ArtificialIntelligence #LegalInnovation #FutureOfLaw
