🎉 The Orlando Resource Fair was a hit! 🎉 Our Orlando team came together to serve the community with compassion, resources, and connection — and the results speak for themselves: ✅ Partnered with AdventHealth, ORLANDO REGIONAL MEDICAL CENTER, and Harmony Health to complete 30 HIV/Hep C tests with follow-up appointments. ✅ Fed 268 patients and their children with a community cookout. ✅ Welcomed phase patients who came in on their day off — a true testament to the sense of community we’re building. ✅ Donated 40 hygiene kits lovingly prepared by our staff. Events like these highlight the importance of support, access to care, and meeting people where they are on their recovery journey. Today, we join the global community in recognizing International Overdose Awareness Day, honoring the lives lost to overdose, supporting the loved ones left behind, and standing alongside those living in recovery. 🕯️ For healthcare professionals, this day is also a powerful reminder of our shared responsibility: 🔹 To expand access to evidence-based treatment. 🔹 To reduce the stigma surrounding substance use disorder. 🔹 To educate communities on harm reduction, overdose prevention, and the availability of lifesaving interventions like naloxone. At New Season, we see firsthand the difference that compassionate, patient-centered care makes in helping individuals find hope and healing. With overdose continuing to impact families and communities across the nation, collaboration across the healthcare workforce has never been more critical. Together, we can save lives and create pathways to recovery. 💜 #IOAD2025 #EndOverdose #RecoveryMatters #Healthcare #AddictionTreatment #NewSeason

New Season welcomed Congresswoman Maxine Dexter, M.D., FACP, from Oregon’s 3rd Congressional District, to our mobile treatment unit during its daily stop at the Reedway Safe Rest Village in Portland. During her visit, Dr. Dexter toured the unit with Dr. Monica Discolo, Program Services Quality Specialist, who shared how our care teams support vulnerable populations, including veterans and individuals experiencing homelessness. Together, they discussed the logistics of mobile operations, patient care, and New Season’s person-centered approach to treatment. The Congresswoman also engaged with Jeffers Dickey, Director of Operations in Portland, and partners from Urban Alchemy about barriers to engaging individuals in treatment, the role of safe rest villages, and the importance of improving access to care. Our frontline team members — driver Rolando Rueda de Leon and nurse Becky Houck — provided firsthand insight into patient experiences and shared how the mobile unit has made a meaningful difference in their recovery journey. We are grateful to Dr. Dexter for her time, her dedication to addressing health disparities, and her commitment to the communities we serve. Together, we can continue expanding access to lifesaving care for those who need it most. #NewSeason #RecoveryMatters #AccessToCare #CommunityHealth #MAT #PortlandOR
